On 'M Countdown', Nayeon And Fromis_9 Competed Where Fromis_9 Managed To Get Full Score For Digital And Physical Sales While Nayeon Get Full Score For Live Vote.
The music program "M Countdown" which aired on Thursday (7/7) brought together Nayeon TWICE and the girl group fromis_9 to fight for the victory trophy. The final result of the competition, where fromis_9 won, apparently made netizens dissatisfied.
Nayeon debuted as a soloist with the title track "POP!" which was released on June 24 last. Despite debuting at #62 on the MelOn 24Hits chart, the song slowly climbed the charts and eventually peaked at #1.
On the other hand, fromis_9 makes a comeback with the mini album "from our Memento Box" along with the title track "Stay This Way". Both the mini album and the title track were released on June 27.
On "M Countdown", Nayeon and fromis_9 competed where fromis_9 managed to get full scores for digital and physical sales while Nayeon got full scores for live votes. fromis_9 achieved more final scores with 9262 and managed to bring home the winning trophy.
However, fromis_9's victory caused dissatisfaction among netizens on the Theqoo community site. Not a few of them wondered how the group could score higher while Nayeon was judged to be superior in digital and physical sales.
