South Korean artist Yoo Jae Suk has drawn the spotlight after being caught helping heart disease patients. He is said to have spent hundreds of millions of rupiah.
This news was revealed by a netizen on social media. Launching from Allkpop on Tuesday (7/6/2022), he said that it was his friend who received help from Yoo Jae Suk.
His friend did have to undergo a heart transplant and it cost up to 88 million won, equivalent to Rp. 1 billion.
Meanwhile, the insurance company only paid 73 million won. For 15 million won or the equivalent of Rp. 172 million must be paid personally.
"But the hospital has a system in place to support those in need, so all hospital fees are paid for with an amount donated by one donor," he explained.
