Soobin TXT's confession that sounds simple but is close to a person's daily habits is generally back in the conversation because he also does that.
Having an introverted attitude for someone can affect how they communicate with those around them. As now seems to be felt by TXT's Soobin who admitted that he often forgot to reply to text messages because he was too indifferent.
The day before TXT started their "Good Boy Gone Bad" promotions, Soobin sat down for a casual interview with South Korean rapper Lee Young Ji. Soobin is the first guest in Lee Young Ji's new video series.
To relieve his nervousness, Lee Young Ji prepared for the interview by drinking alcohol and making a special drink for Soobin. By the time he arrived, his pre-interview anxiety was gone and he managed to blend in with Soobin.
During the interview, Soobin was surprised several times by what Lee Young Ji knew about him. Lee Young Ji jokingly told him that his show made money.
One of the little-known facts that took him by surprise is that Soobin is really bad at responding to text messages. Lee Young Ji shared that she was also bad at responding, saying she had a good reason behind it.
"Instead of making an awkward vibe with my last reply, it's better for that person to end the conversation," said Lee Young Ji, who had her own principles and Soobin agreed and shared similar reasons.
Soobin further explained that since his notification was activated, he was able to preview the message and was no longer curious about what it was. His lack of curiosity often made him forget to respond to text messages that came into his number.
"When you look at the phone, there's an alarm upstairs when something like 'Hey Soobin, I saw you at lunch' appears. I already know the contents. So I'm not curious anymore. Since I'm watching something right now, I plan to reply after this but after watching a few videos, a day went by and it didn't feel good to reply so late," Soobin said.
Comparatively, he often receives messages while watching TV and intends to reply after the show but doesn't remember until it's too late. "Your social life must be a disaster now," commented Lee Young Ji. Soobin agreed and replied, "I don't have many friends."
Some of Soobin's friends are often busy and leave Soobin alone when his schedule breaks. To pass the time, he shared that he stays at home and watches anime series which has become his obsession recently.
Her current favorite show is "Jujutsu Kaisen" which she highly recommends to Young Ji and the show's viewers. However, regarding how Soobin's habits seem to be experienced by everyone, this idol has received a positive reaction for representing the audience out there. (wk/taki)
