Aespa fans, MY, voiced their frustration at one of the brands that worked with aespa to promote their products, namely Mediheal.
On June 20, 2022, Mediheal, through their official social media, uploaded a new series of photos featuring the four AESPA members, both individually and in groups.

Karina, Winter, and Ningning seemed to have an outdoor photoshoot in a bright summer atmosphere. The 3 aespa members also seemed to be holding Mediheal products in their hands.
However, Giselle's promotional photo looks different, which only shows the Japanese idol taking a photoshoot indoors on a white background, without even bringing a single product.
This has led to criticism from aespa fans around the world, which Indonesian fans have also done by raising the hashtags #RESPECTGISELLE and #GISELLEDESERVEBETTER via Twitter, which have now been tweeted tens of thousands of times.
Until now, neither Mediheal nor the AESPA agency, SM Entertainment has released any statement regarding the different treatment between Giselle and other AESPA members.
