Son Suk Ku Manages A Manufacturing Company That Specializes In Machine Tools. The Company Is Known To Have Exported Products To More Than 10 Countries.


Son Suk Ku succeeded in occupying the top ranking of the most talked about drama stars according to Good Data Corporation which was released Wednesday (1/6). The 1983-born actor was so adored for his slick acting in "My Liberation Notes".


But did you know that Son Suk Ku is apparently not just any actor. The latest episode of the program "TMI NEWS SHOW" revealed that the handsome actor was originally the CEO of a medium-sized company.


Son Suk Ku is said to be running a manufacturing company specializing in machine tools in Daejeon City. His company has exported products to more than 10 countries, including the US, Canada and Japan.


In 2021, Son Suk Ku's company's sales revenue is expected to reach 2.68 billion won. The star of the drama "Designated Survivor: 60 Days" is reported to have a 34.3 percent stake. He participated in the management of the company even before his debut.


Son Suk Ku is also said to come from a rich family and he was born with a "golden spoon". Mijoo who became one of the MCs for "TMI NEWS SHOW" also shared another cool background of Son Suk Ku.


"In fact, Son Suk Ku had an extraordinary past before he became an actor. He reportedly volunteered to join the Iraqi Zaytun unit during his military service," said Mijoo.


"He then decided to do everything he wanted to do. He got on a plane to Canada and accidentally went to acting school and fell in love with acting," added Mijoo.


After returning to Korea, Son Suk Ku started performing on the theater stage. He was the art director of a play and also starred in it. Son Suk Ku was cast by a director who watched his play and made it into Hollywood with the series "Sense 8".


Now that he has completed "My Liberation Notes", Son Suk Ku is greeting moviegoers through the film "The Roundup" (the sequel to "The Outlaws"). He has also confirmed taking part in the Netflix series "D.P. 2". (wk/charity)
