So Ji Sub plays the titular medical malpractice lawyer Han Yi Han, who changes careers after a devastating incident in the operating room. Meanwhile, Im Soo Hyang plays Geum Seok Young, a prosecutor who strongly believes in justice. Meanwhile, Shin Sung Rok plays the mysterious Jayden Lee, the head of the Asia branch of Honors Hand, a company that specializes in lobbying and investment.


In the story, five years ago, Han Yi Han successfully completed a heart transplant operation for Geum Seok Joo (Han Seung Bin), the younger brother of his girlfriend Geum Seok Young.


That night, Han Yi Han again performs heart transplant surgery using the heart of an unknown person at the request of Goo Jin Ki (Lee Kyung Young). The next day, Geum Seok Joo suddenly dies and the autopsy shows that he died due to Han Yi Han's malpractice.
