In Interview With Ethan Cole For Atlanta's Power 96.1, Charlie Puth Continues To Sing Praises Of Jungkook And BTS. He Was So Happy To Have Jungkook On This Record With Him.

Charlie Puth and Jungkook BTS (Bangtan Boys) have been vocal fans of each other's music for years. They share the same style and taste in music so, of course, they hit it off when they meet. Who would have thought, even their voices were the same when recording.

So, after Jungkook covered Puth's hit song "We Don't Talk Anymore," they finally collaborated for a live show at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards. Now, years later, they're officially collaborating on the long-awaited single "Left and Right," and it's even more amazing than we could ever have dreamed of.

In the interview, Charlie Puth couldn't stop talking about Jungkook. So, if it wasn't already clear from their undeniable chemistry in the MV and behind-the-scenes clips, it's clear they really are best friends. And it seems they are even more alike than we imagined.

In an interview with Ethan Cole for Atlanta's Power 96.1, Charlie Puth continued to sing the praises of Jungkook and BTS. "I'm so happy to have him on this record with me," said Charlie Puth.

Charlie Puth added that he felt that Jungkook and his voice complemented each other well. So, the collaboration feels natural. "I feel like we complement each other's voices really, really well."

However, the reason why their voices complement each other so well may be due to similarities. Charlie Puth shared how when he was about to send a version of the song to the BIGHIT MUSIC staff that they struggled to distinguish the voices of the two singers.

"There was a point where because we had to, you know, I had to send some versions to his team to see what they thought, if they wanted a change and, I think, at one point, they were like, 'They sound very similar. did he sing the second verse?' Yes, that's him," said Charlie Puth.

That would definitely explain why their harmony was so phenomenal! And, of course, we know now that the song turned out to be absolutely perfect. "It ended up sounding great. We did a bit of harmony. We went left and right speakers... I'm really happy with that," said Charlie Puth. (wk/goddess)
