BTS managed to set a new record with sales figures for their anthology album entitled PROOF.
Last week, BTS made the comeback that fans have been waiting for with the anthology album PROOF and the music video for "Yet To Come".
Based on data released by Hanteo Chart, in just one week after its release (June 10 – June 16), PROOF's album sold 2,752,496 copies.
The sales figures within one week make PROOF the K-Pop album with the highest first week sales in 2022.
PROOF also became the second best-selling album in its first week of release in Hanteo Chart history, just below the album Map of the Soul: 7 which sold 3,378,633 copies in its first week of release.
In addition to PROOF and Map of the Soul: 7, BTS's two other albums titled BE and “Map of the Soul: Persona” also managed to rank third and fourth on the Hanteo Chart, with first-week sales of 2,274,882 and 2,130, respectively. .480 pieces.
