Big Hit Music Filed A Number Of Complaints With The Investigation Agency Based On Evidence Of Insults And Defamation Posts Collected Through Self-Monitoring And Fan Reports.

BTS (Bangtan Boys) has filed a complaint against the author of malicious posts about its members. BTS's agency Big Hit Music said on June 29 through its official fan community that it would take strict action against any malicious commenters and spreaders of false rumours, which became even more prevalent after the group announced it would temporarily focus on individual activities.

Hello, this is Big Hit Music. We are regularly taking legal action against the authors of malicious posts such as defamation, insults, sexual harassment, spreading false information, and malicious slander against BTS. We would like to inform everyone about the progress in this regard. ," wrote the agency.

Big Hit Music revealed that they recently filed a number of complaints with the investigative agency based on evidence of insulting and defamatory posts collected through self-monitoring and fan reports.

They revealed that on DCInside, certain people had written malicious posts using dozens of different IPs. Big Hit Music has monitored the types of posts from these accounts and is suing them, including all of their repeated malicious posts.

"In addition, even after the last announcement, we have already examined defamatory posts with extremely abusive and paranoid content and subsequently taken legal action. In addition, we would like to inform you that the platform that was not specific in the notification has also been included in the complaint and that we cannot explain the contents of the complaint in detail for the smooth running of the investigation," they continued.

In addition, the agency added that legal actions, such as collecting and reporting, in response to malicious posts against BTS are continuing. "The defendant, who is being investigated, has recently been trying to reach an agreement and requested consultations to avoid harsh sentences, but we will not show any leniency. In order to eradicate malicious behavior, we will continue to take strong action against suspects without consent or leniency."

"Fan reports always play a big role in legal action against harmful content. We hope that you will show more interest and actively report malicious posts through Big Hit's account for legal response. Big Hit Music will continue to work hard to protect the rights and interests of our artists. , they concluded. (wk/goddess)
