Billboard officially announced that BTS' new anthology album Proof has topped the Top 200 chart with the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States.
Launching from Soompi on Monday (6/20/2022), although mostly consisting of previously released songs, Proof achieved the biggest sales in America and became BTS's second biggest album.
According to Luminate, Proof obtained 314 thousand album units with a total album score consisting of 266,000 traditional album sales, 12 thousand track equivalent album (TEA) units, and 36 thousand streams. Meanwhile album equivalent (SEA) translated to 52.84 million on-demand audio streams in the album's first week.
Not only that, Proof's album is the biggest selling CD for an album on CD in America since Adele's '30 which sold 378,000 CDs in the first week of last year.
It is known, Proof is BTS's sixth album to enter the charts at first. The group is now the only Korean artist ever to top the Billboard 200 with six different albums. /celebrities.id
