The Super Junior member revealed that receiving malicious comments is not an easy thing to go through. Therefore, Kim Heechul praised IU for having her own way of dealing with it.

Not all celebrities can be able to deal with malicious comments from the public. However, Super Junior's Kim Heechul indirectly praised IU's attitude, which he thought was very wise in dealing with malicious comments.

Kim Heechul's admiration was conveyed on the episode of JTBC's "Love of 7.7 Billion" where Kim Heechul talked about malicious comments towards celebrities. As well as how IU is a good example of how all celebrities should handle them.

During discussions around malicious comments and mental health, it was revealed that going to a psychiatric clinic is taboo in Korea. And in response, Heechul added that visiting someone makes things worse for a celebrity.

"When you go, you start getting mean comments about how you went there," said Kim Heechul. Heechul continued that even though a big agency like SM Entertainment provides extensive support for mental health, nothing matters after just one malicious comment.

"SM Entertainment is a big company, so they have a good system and support for things related to mental health. But even with the help of your company, hospital, doctor, or friends, just one malicious comment makes all that useless," said Kim Heechul describing how a celebrity collapses when he gets malicious comments.

According to Kim Heechul, that means the only way to deal with malicious comments is to sue them. However, doing that is really not easy. "You have no choice but to sue malicious commenters, but it's not easy. Actually it took a long time," said Kim Heechul.

However, Kim Heechul suggested that all celebrities should deal with malicious commenters like IU did. "If this is a problem, you have to deal with them like IU. There is no adequate management. She is someone who overcomes malicious comments and continues her career wisely," he said.

Kim Heechul explained that IU herself had sued all malicious commenters. And as a result, the malicious commenters are the ones who vent their stress and treat IU as if she was the culprit.

"When meeting with malicious commenters, they talk about their losses and vent their stress. What's crazy is that they talk about IU as if she was the perpetrator and not the victim," said Kim Heechul praising how IU was able to control it. (wk/taki)
