On Friday (27/5), KBS broadcast the latest episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook". This episode is attracting a lot of attention because it features Suzy as a guest.
Suzy first came to "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" in 2012 with Cool, and returned the following year, with the members of miss A. Thus, this is her first appearance on the program in 9 years.
Regarding this, MC Yoo Hee Yeol said, "It's been 9 years since Suzy last appeared on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'. Does this make sense?". Suzy replied, "That's right. I appeared with miss A in 2013, and in 2012 with Cool sunbaenim."
Suzy then expressed her joy of performing as a singer in front of a live audience. He stated, "It's been a long time since I've stood in front of an audience. I feel nervous and excited because it's been a long time since I've appeared on an event."
Suzy herself appeared on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" because of her participation in Kang Seung Won's album. Regarding this, he commented, "It was an honor. I was out of my mind at the time."
"I would politely decline the offer because of filming and preparation of my album, but after hearing the song, it was very good. It suited me. So I wanted to meet him and do it," he added.
Director Kang Seung Won then introduced the song "Because I Love You" which he worked on with Suzy. He said, "This is a song that contains emotions and feelings of awkwardness because of love."
Suzy added, "It felt like a very gentle tiger calling out to me when I heard the demo. It was rough, but smooth and soft, making it sound heartbreaking."
On this occasion, Suzy also talked about her upcoming drama comeback and album. Last but not least, he expressed his desire to return to appear on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" when his new album was released.
"I think the drama I've finished filming will be released soon. I've also been working on music steadily, and if an album is released this year, I want to appear on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'," he concluded.
