Chani and Jaeyoon SF9 reportedly contracted Covid-19. One day after SF9's Jaeyoon was diagnosed with Covid-19, Chani also tested positive for the virus.

Launching Soompi, Sunday (8/5/2022), on May 6, SF9's agency FNC Entertainment officially announced that Jaeyoon had been diagnosed with Covid-19. As a result, the idol has canceled all scheduled activities, including his musical performance, the musical version of the hit drama Another Oh Hae Young which he has starred in since March.

Initially, the agency FNC Entertainment announced that SF9's Jaeyoon was experiencing uncomfortable symptoms of a cold and sore throat. So, he underwent a rapid antigen test for Covid-19.

Although the results were negative, he underwent a rapid antigen test and a PCR test for Covid-19 this morning just in case, and both test results were positive.

Currently, Jaeyoon is only experiencing symptoms of a cold and sore throat, and is planning to rest a lot for now as he is undergoing treatment according to the guidelines of the government health authorities.

He has canceled all scheduled activities, including his musical performances, and the agency asks you to direct all inquiries regarding ticket and show refunds to the production company.

After that, on May 7, FNC Entertainment announced that Chani had also been diagnosed with Covid-19. Chani SF9 used a self-test kit for Covid-19 and the results were positive. He underwent a PCR test for Covid-19, and the test results came back positive.

Currently, Chani has no specific symptoms other than mild flu symptoms and a sore throat, and he plans to get plenty of rest for now as he is undergoing treatment according to government health authority guidelines.
