Launching Allkpop, this news has been directly confirmed by the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. They announced that SEVENTEEN had made a donation to children and youth around the world to commemorate the group's 7th anniversary.
The donation will be used for the UNESCO Korea Committee's global education sharing project supporting underprivileged people. It also includes helping children and youth in Africa or Asia access education.
In an interview, SEVENTEEN revealed that they are very happy to be able to celebrate their anniversary by participating in meaningful activities by helping people in need. They hope that the donation can help create a more beautiful world, especially for children.
