South Korean girl group BLACKPINK attends the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's birthday and the Platinum Jubilee (the Queen's 70th year as leader) at the British Embassy in Seoul, South Korea on Thursday (26/5/2022).
The group consisting of Jennie, Jisoo, Rose and Lisa appeared in formal clothes.
The presence of this YG Entertainment girl group as UN ambassadors for climate change (COP26), which BLACKPINK formed with the United Kingdom since November 2021.
They also gave a short speech to express their feelings for being one of the artists who received an honorary invitation to participate in celebrating the important event of the Queen of England.
In her speech, BLACKPINK's Rose thanked her for being invited and did not forget she also congratulated the Queen on her birthday as well as the Platinum Jubilee, which marked 70 years of the Queen's service.
At the end of their speech, Jennie took the lead in a high-five to Queen Elizabeth II, "The Queen".
The appearance of the four women did not escape the spotlight of netizens. Launching from the Allkpop page, netizens praised BLACKPINK's appearance.
