After a long time not announcing its development, the case of bullying from former (G)I-DLE member Soojin was again discussed by Cube Entertainment as the agency.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, Cube Entertainment released a statement regarding the final decision of the police regarding the position of the whistleblower who accused Soojin of being a school bully.

“Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with artist Seo Soo Jin has been terminated.

In February of last year, after the controversy arose, Cube Entertainment handled the matter with Seo Soo Jin to reveal the truth through police investigations; however, the police ultimately concluded that the accuser was 'not guilty' of spreading false information.

Cube Entertainment respects the police's decision, and we bow our heads to apologize for causing so many people to be concerned about this matter.
