Kang Dong Won Ready for Hollywood Debut, Joins Brad Pitt's Agency in America

Actor Kang Dong Won made a new breakthrough in his career. The reason is, the Train To Busan actor officially signed a contract with a large agency in the United States.

This extraordinary achievement was announced directly by Kang Dong Won's agency, YG Entertainment, today, Friday (25/3/2022).

"Kang Dong Won has signed a contract with the American agency CAA (Creative Artists Agency)," wrote the agency which also houses a number of top K-Pop idols, quoted by MNC Portal Indonesia from Soompi.

For information, the Creative Artists Agency is one of the largest sports and talent agencies in America.

Where his client list is studded with stars such as Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, to director Steven Spielberg. As for Kang Dong Won's new agency, they mentioned the reason they recruited the actor.

"He is a fluent English speaker and that in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, he filmed scenes for 'Tsunami LA', which is a disaster film directed by Scott Mann," Variety wrote.

The joining of Kang Dong Won at CAA will also mark his Hollywood debut, where the actor born January 18, 1981 will appear in 'Broker', a film that will be produced by CJ Entertainment and directed by Koreeda Hirokazu.
