Jin Calls BTS Potentially Losing Due to Concert in Seoul, This Fact Makes Fans Touched

While doing a live broadcast on Monday (7/3), Jin revealed surprising facts about the BTS concert 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - Seoul'. Like what?

The BTS (Bangtan Boys) concert "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - Seoul" became one of the most anticipated concerts. The reason is, this is BTS's first solo concert in Korea in approximately 2 years.

Ahead of the concert, Jin revealed his honest opinion to fans during a live broadcast on Monday (7/3). Jin said that he was very happy for the concert and how much he appreciated the efforts of ARMY (BTS fans) to get the tickets.

Jin said, "We saw what our ARMYs have done for the concert, like (getting) tickets and stuff like that. It seems like everyone is happy and excited now that we're finally doing a concert in Korea."

Jin then shared his honest opinion about the concert. He said that he was very excited to hold a concert in Seoul, even though the concert would not be financially profitable due to COVID-19 restrictions.

He revealed, "Also, well, it's not something we have to say. To be honest, this upcoming concert is going to be almost financial loss."

The main reason for this is restrictions. Unlike their shows in the United States, the Seoul Olympic Stadium can only be filled to a quarter of the capacity. If the location can accommodate about 65,000 people, the number of fans who are allowed to watch is only 15 thousand people per day.

As a result, the revenue from ticket sales will not meet the cost of renting the stadium during previous concerts and rehearsals. However, Jin emphasized that he didn't mind losing at all because he missed ARMY so much.

Jin explained, "But even so, I feel fine. Getting ready for practice and looking forward to seeing ARMYs soon, all schedules related to this concert always make me very happy."

Jin's next statement succeeded in making fans moved because it showed that BTS really really loves fans sincerely. "Because ARMYs are happy, even if we suffer losses or are physically tired, I just want to tell you that I'm happy," he concluded.

After the broadcast, ARMY couldn't stop praising Jin on various social media. For them, Jin is willing to take the risk of talking about a sensitive topic that most idols don't even dream of, while also showing the real life of a K-Pop group.

Meanwhile, the concert "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - Seoul" will be held on March 10, 12 and 13. The concerts on March 10 and 13 will take place simultaneously online and offline, so global fans can watch it live.

The concert on March 12 will take place simultaneously and as a special live viewing event, meaning the show will be broadcast in select theaters around the world for an immersive fan experience. (wk/eval)
