When he was a guest on a radio show on Monday (14/2), Yeon Woo Jin also discussed his chemistry with Son Ye Jin in the JTBC drama 'Thirty Nine'.


On Monday (14/2), Yeon Woo Jin appeared as a guest on the SBS Power FM radio broadcast "Park Ha-sun's Cinetown". On this occasion, he also talked about his chemistry with Son Ye Jin in the drama "Thirty Nine".

"Thirty Nine" tells the story of three 39-year-old women who have been friends since high school. This drama will tell their beautiful and emotional story when facing unexpected circumstances.

Son Ye Jin plays Cha Mi Jo, the chief dermatologist at a clinic in Gangnam. He is a warm character who grew up in a wealthy environment and has a family who cares deeply for him.

On the other hand, Yeon Woo Jin plays Kim Sun Woo, a 39-year-old working dermatologist who works at the same hospital as Cha Mi Jo. Despite being liked by many women, his attention is only on Cha Mi Jo and they end up getting involved in a romantic relationship.

Yeon Woo Jin said that he was very grateful to be able to work with Son Ye Jin. Because the actress helped him a lot on set.

He said, "Son Ye Jin is an actress whose name shines through. I thank her for her consideration and comfort."

Yeon Woo Jin also said that his meeting with "Thirty Nine" was like fate. "I also feel like destiny because this year I am 39 years old (in Korean reckoning)," he said.

Besides discussing "Thirty Nine", Yeon Woo Jin also talked about his new film "Serve the People". He explained, "This film contains human dignity and love."

"Our film is a work that deals with human emotions. I think this is a film that will be enjoyed and remembered by many people for a long time," he concluded.

Meanwhile, "Thirty Nine" will air every Wednesday - Thursday on JTBC and will begin broadcasting on February 16. While the film "Serve the People" will be released in South Korean theaters on February 23. (wk/eval)
