The Korean drama Thirty Nine has succeeded in capturing the attention of television series connoisseurs. Based on the story of three independent women, this drama was successful because of the appearance of Son Ye-Jin.

A comeback event from Son Ye-Jin after her role in Crash Landing on You which was a huge success, this Korean drama titled Thirty Nine also carries a theme that is not much different from her previous projects, life and relationships. In this drama, Ye-Jin plays the character Cha Mi-Jo.

The story of Drakor Thirty Nine focuses on three 39-year-old girls who are living the days leading up to the age of four.

They are Cha Mi-Jo the dermatologist, Jung Chan-Young the acting teacher, and Jang Joo-Hee the manager of a cosmetics company.

At an age that is no longer young, the friendship of these three friends seems to be still very close like a gang of teenage girls. Unfortunately, with increasing age, the burden of life will also increase on their shoulders.

The story begins to climb the hill of conflict when one day Mi-Jo and Joo-Hee hear the news that Chan-Young has been diagnosed with a dangerous disease.

These three friends also have to find various ways so that they can continue to live normal and happy lives even though one of them is slowly approaching his death more quickly.

Directed by Kim Sang-Ho based on a script from Yoo Young-A, Thirty Nine airs on the television channel JTBC and takes over the portion of time previously occupied by Artificial City.
