The JTBC drama "Thirty Nine" held a press conference on Wednesday (16/2) today. The event was attended by the director and the main cast, including Son Ye Jin and Yeon Woo Jin.

"Thirty Nine" tells the story of three 39-year-old women who have been friends since high school. This drama will tell their beautiful and emotional story when facing unexpected circumstances.

Son Ye Jin plays Cha Mi Jo, the chief dermatologist at a clinic in Gangnam. He is a warm character who grew up in a wealthy environment and has a family who cares deeply for him.

On the other hand, Yeon Woo Jin plays Kim Sun Woo, a 39-year-old working dermatologist who works at the same hospital as Cha Mi Jo. Despite being liked by many women, his attention is only on Cha Mi Jo and they end up getting involved in a romantic relationship.

During the press conference, Son Ye Jin expressed her admiration for Kim Sun Woo's character. According to him, he is the most perfect type of lover in the world.

Son Ye Jin said, "Kim Sun Woo's character, played by Yeon Woo Jin is so perfect that I asked if there is a man like this in the world. He is a fantastic man who really cares and understands everything. I was very happy throughout filming."

After hearing this, MC Park Seulgi indirectly mentioned Hyun Bin to tease Son Ye Jin. He commented, "But I heard that there is actually a man like that huh." Son Ye Jin, who understood the direction of the conversation, couldn't help but smile shyly.

On the other hand, Yeon Woo Jin also gave exorbitant praise to his character. She said, "He has a romantic heart, but his expression is rough. His heart is clean and beautiful."

He continued, "Personally, I didn't think that I could be like him. I acted with the mindset of trying to resemble him even if only half of it. That's how great the character Kim Sun Woo is."

"There are some things he did to Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) that I want to imitate in real life. I will not give spoilers. See you later," he concluded.

Meanwhile, "Thirty Nine" is prepared to replace the "Artificial City" broadcast slot on JTBC's Wednesday - Thursday night. If it goes according to plan, the drama, which also stars Jeon Mi Do, will start airing on Wednesday (16/2) tonight. (wk/eval)
