Red Velvet's Joy expressed her desire to be more productive as a soloist. He is determined to record and release more solo music this year and in the future.
This was revealed by the idol whose real name is Park Soo-young in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan Korea regarding the process behind the production of his first solo project Hello, which was released in May last year.
"I filled the 'Hello' album with my favorite songs. It is an album that, even now, every time I listen to it I am proud and feel attached to it, "said Joy as quoted by NME, Friday (18/2/2022).
Despite her love for her solo recordings, Joy revealed that the process and work behind it was not easy.
"I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but the genres of the six songs are so different that it feels like a mission to express them one by one properly," he said.
On the sidelines of his busy schedule as a member of Red Velvet, Joy also promised that he would, work on more solo material in the future and present a self-composed song.
“When I release another solo album, I want to release a new song that I sing first, and I want to organize it by focusing on my favorite genres,” said Joy.
Meanwhile, for his project with Red Velvet, Joy along with three other friends namely Seulgi, Wendy and Irene will comeback with new music in March, as confirmed by SM Entertainment. /celebrties.id
