A series of South Korean idols are reported to have contracted COVID-19 again, which was released by a statement from each agency.
Miyeon, who is a member of (G)I-DLE, was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Thursday (17/02) after conducting an independent test. The idol, who is waiting for the results of the PCR test, is known to have carried out a second vaccine. Regarding his schedule as MC for M! Countdown today, it had to be canceled.
Meanwhile Super Junior's Kyuhyun had to cancel the musical "Frankenstein" today (17/02) because he was positive for COVID-19 and was waiting for the results of the PCR test.
Park Woojin from AB6IX was also confirmed positive for COVID-19 on February 16, 2022 after carrying out a PCR test on Tuesday (15/02). A mild sore throat was the only symptom experienced by Woojin, who had his third vaccination.
