1. Park So Dam
On December 13, 2021, Artist Company revealed that Park So Dam had papillary cancer in her thyroid from the results of her routine medical tests. So, the "Parasite" movie player had to cancel some of his schedules because he had to undergo surgery.
Park So Dam also gave his latest post-surgery news so as not to worry fans. He reported by posting a letter on his personal Instagram account. Park So Dam is also promoting her new film and greeting her fans for the new year.
2. Kim Woo Bin
Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017. This news certainly surprised fans. The reason is, Kim Woo Bin suffers from cancer which is quite rare because it only affects 1 in 10000 people. Moreover, the cancer can cause nerve paralysis if it has spread to the brain.
However, Kim Woo Bin did not give up. He underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy which was always accompanied by his girlfriend, Shin Min A. As a result, Kim Woo Bin returned to health and was ready to greet fans in the Netflix drama project "Black Knight".
3. Yoo Ah In
Yoo Ah In is the next celebrity to have experience as a cancer survivor. Song Hye Kyo's friend was diagnosed with a bone tumor undergoing a check-up for the purposes of the military. As a result, Yoo Ah In was released from the military because of his health condition. But unfortunately, Yoo Ah In received criticism for absenteeism from state duties. The star of the film "Voice of Silence" immediately spoke up and explained that this tumor was the effect of his shoulder injury which was getting worse.
4. Choi Sung Won
Hyeri Girl's Day's sister in the drama "Reply 1988" suffered from acute leukemia in May 2016. After undergoing intensive treatment, Choi Sung Won was finally declared cancer-free. He immediately greeted fans in the drama "Prison Playbook". Choi Sung Won had panicked because his cancer had recurred in November 2020.
5. Jung Il Woo
