Disney+ is intensifying promotions ahead of the premiere of the "Grid" episode. One of them is by releasing a photo of Lee Si Young's scene who plays a ghost.
"Grid" tells the story of a mysterious "ghost" who disappeared after appearing in 1997 to save humanity. The creature reappears 24 years later to help a serial killer escape.
In more detail, the ghost makes a technology called "Grid" to prevent the annihilation of the Earth by the solar wind. He is called a ghost because the government is not sure if he is a real person.
After disappearing for two decades, a ghost returns to Earth in 2021 to protect an assassin. In that way, he ended up being both a savior and a killer.
The newly released scene photos show two different sides of the ghost. On the one hand, the ghost of Lee Si Young is seen wearing a hood while showing a cold gaze at the camera. On the other hand, she smiled lovingly as she stared at the dessert in front of her.
According to the production staff, Lee Se Young always manages to surprise everyone on set. That's because his transformation as a ghost is very different from his original personality.
The production staff stated, "Lee Si Young always brightens up the set. But when filming started, he was so immersed in his role that it was almost scary."
"Not only staff members, but the cast on set were also shocked. Without knowing the true identity of the character, he increased the sense of mystery of the drama with his own presence," concluded the staff.
Meanwhile, "Grid" is one of the most awaited dramas. Because in addition to being star-studded, this drama was also worked on by scriptwriter Lee Soo Yeon, who previously had success with the "Stranger" and "Life" series.
