JYP Entertainment Announces Lia ITZY Positive for COVID-19!

One member of the ITZY girl group, Lia, was reported by the agency to have contracted COVID-19.

JYP Entertainment, on Saturday (12/02) announced that Lia ITZY was positive for COVID-19 after conducting an independent test.

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about ITZY member Lia and the live schedule to commemorate their 3rd debut anniversary today.

On the 12th morning, Lia tested positive for corona to follow the self-diagnosis kit procedure as scheduled, so she immediately went to the hospital and did a PCR test, and is currently waiting for the results. Lia has completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and is currently in self-isolation without any specific symptoms.

Meanwhile, except for Lia, today all members have tested negative for the self-diagnosis kit, but they have done a PCR test first and are currently waiting for the results.

Therefore, we would like to inform you that the 3rd anniversary live of our debut scheduled for today has been cancelled. Additional information about the PCR results and the schedule of upcoming members including Lia will be announced.

We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans who must have been waiting for their 3rd debut anniversary.
