Jimin BTS is referred to as Korea's Frontman by Korean media because of his contribution to the globalization of Korean culture, K-Pop and becoming an icon of national prestige.

Reported by AllKpop, Sunday (20/2/2022), in a KBS News report, Korea's popularity has increased overseas during the pandemic.

The report states that a survey conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism revealed that Korean drama and video content consumption is preferred, especially Korean dramas, such as Parasite and Squid Game.

Meanwhile, Jimin became in the spotlight with BTS with the MV 'Butter', which focused on Jimin's part to talk about the popularity of the boy group.

This clip has been widely popularized all over the world and used by international media which clearly shows Jimin's impact. Jimin's concept photo for 'Butter' went viral when international media and verified accounts praised Jimin's highlight hair.

Indian media Indiacom also named Jimin's hair as the top BTS fashionable moment of 2021.

On the same day, Jimin's popularity in Japan focused on JTBC's TalkPawon 25 O'clock. During the event, people were randomly asked what came to their mind about Korea. The two women answered 'Jimin-Chan' without hesitation.

The TalkPawon 25 O'clock segment has gained popularity during the pandemic for broadcasting overseas content shared by Koreans. Jimin's popularity in Japan exploded because Kotomi Ishizaki, a curler from Japan, was seen having Jimin BTS x McDonald's merchandise and Jimin Dynamite stickers. /celebrties.id
