Ever Played the Same Character, This Is Lee Seo Jin's Comment About Junho's Acting In 'The Red Sleeve'

As a fellow cast of Yi San, Lee Seo Jin also commented on 2PM's Junho's acting ability in the MBC drama 'The Red Sleeve'. Check out the full narrative below.

In a recent interview, Lee Seo Jin also commented on 2PM's Junho's acting in the hit MBC drama "The Red Sleeve". This is because he has played the same character, namely Yi San or King Jeongjo, in the past.

For information, Lee Seo Jin has starred in the drama "Lee San, Wind of the Palace" which aired in 2007-2008 ago. His role is known to be quite iconic because he is able to portray Yi San very well.

After a dozen years had passed, Junho was trusted to play the same character in "The Red Sleeve". Like Lee Seo Jin, Junho also managed to show good acting skills until this drama experienced success.

As a senior who has played the same character, Lee Seo Jin also feels proud when he sees Junho's success in "The Red Sleeve". He also gave exorbitant praise to the 1990-born actor.

Lee Seo Jin said, "I knew Junho would do well a long time ago, and I'm very proud that it happened as Yi San. Now Yi San is Lee Junho (not Yi San is Lee Seo Jin anymore)."

Lee Seo Jin then shared his thoughts on starring in another historical drama. Because so far he is known to be very suitable to play a role in this genre.

He said, "I don't have any thoughts (of doing it) right now. If there was a good job, I could do it, but I think I've done enough historical dramas."

Meanwhile, Junho's acting ability in "The Red Sleeve" has received recognition from many parties. He even received the Best Actor award at the 2021 MBC Drama Awards which was held last December.

On the other hand, "The Red Sleeve" can be considered as one of the most successful dramas of 2021. This drama also managed to revive MBC's viewership after years of decline. (wk/eval)
