One of the members of the CNBLUE band, Jung Yong Hwa, tested positive for COVID-19.


The news was delivered directly by the FNC Entertainment agency on Sunday (13/02).

In its official announcement, the agency stated:

"Hello. This is FNC Entertainment.

CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa has tested positive for COVID-19.

Currently, Jung Yong Hwa is only experiencing mild flu-like symptoms and a sore throat. Until he is deemed medically recovered, he will remain in self-quarantine and take all necessary measures in accordance with public health authority guidelines, and he will focus fully on his treatment while getting plenty of rest.

We ask for your understanding for causing you concern, and we will do our best to ensure our artist's speedy recovery and diligently comply with the health authorities' requests."

Recently, there have been a lot of K-Pop idols and celebrities in South Korea who have tested positive for COVID-19.
