Cho Yi Hyun recently had an interview with iMBC media. The 1999-born actress opened up about the popularity of her latest drama "All of Us Are Dead" which was recently released by Netflix.
Since its release on January 28, "All of Us Are Dead" has become a global phenomenon, remaining the No. 1 most watched on Netflix worldwide for weeks. This drama has succeeded in catapulting Cho Yi Hyun to the international scene.
Cho Yi Hyun was asked if he could feel his skyrocketing popularity. The young actress humbly replied, "I can feel interest (in the drama) through news articles and responses on SNS."
"I still feel dazed and confused whether it's all really real. It's amazing," added Cho Yi Hyun. The beautiful actress also shared that she still can't believe her sudden rise in Instagram followers.
"After 'All of Us Are Dead' was released, the number of my Instagram followers went up, and it's still increasing rapidly now, so it doesn't feel like that's my account. There are so many likes now, and the number of comments keeps growing," said Cho Yi Hyun. .
"I used to be able to read all the comments on my account in just a few minutes, but now, there are even many comments in other languages," continued Cho Yi Hyun. Even in the midst of his rising fame and popularity, he tries to remain humble.
"I feel amazed and a little depressed by all the sudden interest and love. But my personality is like Nam Ra. I'm the type of person who tries to stay calm and not too excited," said Cho Yi Hyun.
