Having a life with a mediocre economy was experienced by A Pink's Chorong who recalled that she had survived eating a cereal box for a month. Read on for the next story.
Ahead of the special comeback after stepping on 11 years of career, A Pink's Chorong and Eun Ji appeared on various TV shows. One of them was on the TV CHOSUN special program "Foodie Heo Young Man's Baekban Journey" which discussed the career journey of these two idols.
On Friday (4/2), Chorong and Eun Ji appeared as guests and went on a journey to find the best Korean dishes in Hwasung, Gyeonggi-do. On that day, both Chorong and Eun Ji both reminisced about the difficult times they went through before their debut.
"To save money, I bought a lunch box from a convenience store and ate it for two days. There were times when I survived on a box of cereal for a month too," said Chorong recalling the past before her debut.
Both Eun Ji and Chorong admit to having forgotten the importance of eating well as it is difficult to eat real food due to their long-standing sustainable diet. The two expressed their gratitude for the program "Foodie Heo Young Man's Baekban Journey" by saying that it was the first time they had eaten a lot.
"This is the first time we eat three times a day," said the two happily. The two idols also revealed the harshness of the diet so that they eat certain foods. "During the summer, we had to eat Patbingsoo without sweet red beans or condensed milk," Eun Ji said later.
As is known, "Foodie Heo Young Man's Baekban Journey" is a program hosted by visual artist Heo Young Man as he travels across South Korea to find the best Korean food restaurants specializing in cuisines from various regions of Korea. Each week, a special guest is invited to join the artist on this extraordinary foodie journey.
It seems that inviting Eun Ji and Chorong is a special thing considering that these two idols are always consistent in maintaining their weight. As expressed, both of them are always committed to eating food to maintain their weight.
Meanwhile, Apink is reported to be making a comeback this February in a complete lineup. Although during the promotion period, one of the members, Na Eun, was unable to participate fully, their latest comeback has received positive reactions from fans. (wk/taki)
