During the award event, fans were very happy to see the idol from SM Entertainment supporting fellow K-Pop groups, and even fanboying one of them.
The 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards took place on January 27, 2022, and left some interesting moments caught on camera by fans. One of them was the moment when Taeyong fanboyed STAYC.
NCT had a successful night at the 11th Gaon Chart Music Awards, with Artist of the Year awards for NCT 127 and NCT Dream, and Top Kit Seller of the Year for NCT Dream.
Taeyong and his members have a lot to celebrate. However, fans were very happy to see the idol made by SM Entertainment supporting fellow K-Pop groups, and even fanboying one of them.
Taeyong proved that he is a fan when he was seen dancing with STAYC performing "ASAP" during the ceremony, showing his cute and supportive side as a fellow artist.
This is not the first time Taeyong has been seen dancing to the song. Previously there was a different clip, showing how much he enjoyed the song, proving that he really is a fan.
Debuting in November 2020, STAYC successfully attracted the attention of K-Pop fans with their strong charm. This group consists of six people, namely Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J.
Meanwhile, Taeyong recently participated in a solo photo shoot with W Korea. In the accompanying interview, the owner's full name Lee Taeyong talked about his trainee days and his desire to protect NCT 127 until the end.
In other news, NCT 127's third studio album “Sticker” debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 3 and has become the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021, with the record now at 17 consecutive weeks and counting. Since debuting on the Billboard 200 in 2018, NCT 127 has slowly but surely climbed to the top of the charts. (wk/chus)
