The personalities of 2PM's Junho and Lee Se Young on the set received exorbitant praise from one of the cast of the MBC drama 'The Red Sleeve'. Check out the full explanation below.
A number of "The Red Sleeve" players underwent post-drama interviews to discuss the ending of this drama. One of them is Ha Yulli who plays one of Lee Se Young's best friends.
In this drama, Ha Yulli plays one of Seong Deok Im's (Lee Se Young) friends named Bae Kyung Hee. She is described as a brave and assertive woman.
During a recent interview, Ha Yulli shared her experience working with Lee Se Young and 2PM's Junho. According to him, these two stars have very good personalities in the real world.
Ha Yulli shared, "When I looked into Lee Se Young's eyes when we were acting, I was touched and happy at the same time. It allowed me to act like a friend. She has eyes that look like virtue."
Regarding Junho, he said, "Lee Junho was very awkward at first. It felt like we were doing (our parts) separately. But he guided me well and led like the main character. In particular, I think he helped me to accept it."
In the last episode, Yi San (Junho) called Bae Kyung Hee to ask about Seong Deok Im. This meeting took place quite seriously, because both of them missed Seong Deok Im who had died a dozen years earlier.
According to Ha Yulli, the process of filming the scene was filled with laughter. Because he and Junho had joked about his appearance with old makeup.
Ha Yulli explained, "In the second half of the drama, Kyung Hee, who is the Chief Justice of the Women's Court, meets Yi San who has spent her time doing good deeds."
"I have to draw wrinkles on my face to express it. He said, 'You are very old'. So I replied, 'Your beard has a lot of power'," concluded the 1999-born actress.
Meanwhile, the last episode of "The Red Sleeve" presents many sad and tearful scenes. Because the domestic life of Yi San (Junho) and Seong Deok Im (Lee Se Young) is colored with grief. Their son died in infancy, and pregnant Seong Deok Im followed shortly after.
To reduce the sadness of the audience, the production team presents scenes that can be considered as afterlife or even dreams. This is because young Yi San suddenly wakes up in Seong Deok Im's lap as if all these sad events were only in a dream. (wk/eval)
