"Snowdrop" aired the latest episode on Sunday (9/1). In the latest episode of the JTBC drama, Im Soo Ho's (Jung Hae In) dialogue when the man criticizes government agents (NSA) is in the spotlight. Is this proof that the play doesn't distort history?
In the latest episode of "Snowdrop", Im Soo Ho got into an argument with Lee Gang Mu (Jang Seung Jo). It is known together, the two are on opposite sides. Im Soo Ho is a spy from North Korea while Lee Gang Mu is a member of the government agency (NSA).
In his dialogue, Im Soo Ho openly says that NSA agents have killed many innocent people. "Hey, NSA leader. It's the NSA that traps and kills those who fight against the tyranny of the regime," said Im Soo Ho.
"A regime dog who tramples on the lives of innocent compatriots to create a state of public security. That's the NSA, right? And you are a bastard who was paid by them so how dare you criticize me," Jung Hae In said.
Meanwhile Lee Gang Mu said, "With the excuse of repatriation, the people who lied to countless gyopos and who trampled on the lives of these gyopos. Aren't they North Koreans? If you compare it to the South who created a state of public safety, we all same."
This dialogue was also busy reaping the defense of South Korean netizens. "Today, they even dragged back a female student who was held hostage to ban them from speaking, the more you look at it, the more goosebumps you get by the actions of the NSA," wrote one netizen.
"Today's episode talks about the brutality of the NSA so if you still claim that they beautify the NSA, that is proof that your heads are completely blank. You are brainwashed into believing that they beautify the NSA," added another.
