Rumors circulated that SM Entertainment would hold the 'SMTOWN Live' concert in early 2022, but the mask company publicly gave shocking news about the event.


The beginning of the new year is usually filled with big events to welcome the changing times. Like one of the annual music events from the SM Entertainment agency which was recently rumored to be holding the event again.

Please note in advance that back on January 1, 2021, SM Entertainment held the first online concert "SMTOWN Live" entitled "Culture Humanity". This event can be watched by fans for free worldwide, featuring performances by TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, WayV, SuperM, aespa and many more.

After successfully holding the event in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the "SMTOWN Live" concert event was held online on a large scale. However, lately the public has been shocked again by rumors that SM Entertainment will return again in 2022 according to one face mask company.

Face mask companies are seen publicizing and giving out very clear spoilers to the public via social media. "January 1, 2022. SM Entertainment's 'SMTOWN Live' will hold a large-scale online concert broadcast in more than 186 countries," the caption reads.

Of course, this upload adds to the curiosity of fans of the artist under SM Entertainment. In fact, a series of netizens seemed to suspect that Girls' Generation would appear on this event after the hashtag #SNSD appeared on Twitter where it was revealed that the girl group members were followed by Girls' Generation's original Instagram account.

Based on the mask company spoilers, it seems that girl group AESPA, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon and DJ Raiden will be part of the lineup for the upcoming "SMTOWN Live" show. Fans can also expect a live orchestra to join in on one of these acts. (wk/taki)
