BIGHIT MUSIC reports that the two BTS members, RM and Jin, were confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (12/25) night. Previously, the same news also came from Suga BTS.

Unpleasant news came back from BTS (Bangtan Boys). After Suga was confirmed positive for COVID-19, now similar information comes from RM (Rap Monster) and Jin.

Through Weverse, BIGHIT MUSIC as BTS's agency revealed the chronology and current conditions of the two. According to BIGHIT MUSIC, RM and Jin tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (25/12) night.

"Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS members RM and Jin were diagnosed with COVID-19 on the evening of Saturday, December 25," the agency said in a statement.

It was stated that RM had just returned from his personal schedule in the United States on Friday (17/12). "RM immediately underwent a PCR test and was declared negative and then underwent a period of self-quarantine at his home according to the mandate of the COVID-19 control procedure," added BIGHIT MUSIC.

RM then underwent a PCR test again today, before the schedule ended his quarantine, and it was confirmed that he was positive for COVID-19. "RM is currently not experiencing any symptoms," explained BIGHIT MUSIC.

Meanwhile, Jin only returned to South Korea on Monday (6/12) and immediately underwent a PCR test procedure and quarantine according to applicable regulations. "Jin underwent a PCR test immediately upon arrival and repeated it before completing quarantine, and was found negative on both occasions," the agency said.

"However (Jin) again felt flu-like symptoms this afternoon so he underwent a PCR test and was confirmed positive that night," added the agency. Unlike RM, Jin experienced mild symptoms such as fever and underwent self-care at home.

BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that the two members had received full doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in late August. "Currently they are also undergoing independent treatment at home according to the guidelines of the health authorities. The two also did not come into contact with other members upon arrival in Korea," said the agency.

"Our company continues to provide support for the speedy recovery of RM and Jin, placing the health and safety of our artists as the top priority. We will continue to follow all health authority regulations. Thank you," concluded BIGHIT MUSIC. (wk/elva)
