The JTBC drama "Snowdrop" is constantly reaping controversy. Now, the drama, starring Jisoo BLACKPINK (Black Pink) and Jung Hae In, has become the target of criticism because it is considered to have received special treatment from JTBC.
On Sunday (26/12), an article entitled "'Snowdrop' using JTBC itself" was posted on the theqoo online community. The article contains information about the broadcast time of "Snowdrop" and another JTBC drama, "The One and Only".
"Snowdrop" will be re-aired at least two to five times a week on JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC4. Meanwhile, "The One and Only" will be re-aired once or twice on JTBC and JTBC2.
Although it was JTBC who set the broadcast time, the Korean public's criticism was again directed at "Snowdrop". Check out some of the comments from netizens in the following ginseng country:
"Isn't this a form of 'Snowdrop' dictatorship?" asked a netizen. "Did 'Snowdrop' use that broadcasting station alone?" added another netizen.
"Has 'Snowdrop' brainwashed JTBC?" said another. "Even though I think 'The One and Only' is much more interesting," said another. "Are you guys fighting against the audience?" concluded the other netizens.
Meanwhile, "Snowdrop" tells the story of the love story of a South Korean student and a North Korean spy in 1987. Because of this background, this drama had drawn strong criticism and was boycotted by the South Korean public.
On the other hand, "The One and Only" is an emotional romance drama about three terminally ill women who meet in a hospital. They have a desire to defeat one bad guy before he dies.
This drama stars a number of popular names, including Kim Kyung Nam, Ahn Eun Jin to Red Velvet's Joy. Unlike "Snowdrop" which airs on weekends, "The One and Only" airs every Monday - Tuesday at 10 pm on JTBC. (wk/eval)
