BTS Takes Home 3 Trophies at the People's Choice Awards

BTS was nominated in three categories at the People's Choice Awards. They took home trophies from all the categories they were nominated for.

BTS took home The Group of 2021 trophy after competing with Coldplay, Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, Migos, and twenty one pilots. Butter also made BTS win The Song of 2021 category, and beat a number of hit songs such as Bad Habits (Ed Sheeran), Easy on Me (Adele), good 4 u (Olivia Rodrigo), MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name). Lil Nas X, Peaches (Justin Bieber ft Daniel Caesar & Giveon), Stay (The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber), and Up (Cardi B).

Not only that, Butter's music video also earned BTS the title of The MUsic Video of 2021. Previously, RM Cs competed with a number of top musicians in that category such as Adele's Easy on Me, Olivia Rodrigo's good 4 u to BTS' collaboration with Coldplay, My Universe.

Not only BTS, Squid Game, which was also nominated at the People's Choice Awards, also took home the trophy. Squid Game was rewarded with The Bingeworthy Show of 2021 award.

Previously, Squid Game was nominated along with a number of popular series such as Cobra Kai, Loki, Mare of Easttown, Outer Banks, Sex/Life, Ted Lasso, and The White Lotus.

Meanwhile, Squid Game will also be competing in the Critics' Choice Awards. They were nominated in 3 categories, namely Best Foreign Language Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series, and Best Drama Series.

While BTS was previously nominated at the Grammy Awards. Like last year, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. /detik.com
