aespa remake of old songs, MV 'Dreams Come True' was watched 10 million times in less than 24 hours

Not only getting praise for recycling S.E.S songs, aespa has set a new record with 'Dreams Come True'. The MV for the single has garnered 10 million views in less than 24 hours.

aespa has made a new achievement through the latest release in the "SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS" project. Karina and friends' single MV entitled "Dreams Come True" has been played 10 million times in less than 24 hours!

Released on December 20, 2021, the remake of SM Entertainment's first generation girl group S.E.S has already gained 10 million views in just 2 hours after being uploaded. No doubt, "Dreams Come True" is the fourth AESPA group whose MV has surpassed 10 million viewers.

In addition, currently the Aespa MV is at the top of South Korea's YouTube trending. While the world trending ranks, "Dreams Come True" is ranked No. 3.

In the MV, AESPA successfully showed its fierce side by carrying the hip-hop genre as well as being sweet like a fairy. The combination of these concepts shows the flexibility of the four-member girl group in performing songs.

"Dreams Come True" itself became a special single part of the SM Remastering Project. In the project, the agency reworked more than 300 old music videos from SM Entertainment with more advanced video and audio quality.

Interestingly, this aespa single involves SM Entertainment's legendary soloist BoA in terms of production, choreography and visual directing. The difference from the original version is in the hip hop vibe highlighted by AESPA.

Prior to this, the S.E.S and AESPA versions of "Dreams Come True" were compared and got good reactions from fans of both groups. Karina, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing received praise for successfully performing an old song without leaving their own image. (wk/inta)
