Yumi's Cells vs The Veil vs One the Woman Drama Competition

September 2021 was marked by a number of new Korean dramas. There are three dramas that stole the attention, namely Yumi's Cells, The Veil, and On the Woman which both aired on weekends.


The rating competition for the three dramas can be seen from the airing of the first episode. One the Woman, which is a comedy drama starring Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon, premiered with a rating of 8.2 percent on Friday (17/9).

Meanwhile, the Korean drama The Veil, starring Namgoong Min, debuted on the same day with a rating of 7.2 percent. Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun's latest drama, Yumi's Cell, won 2.1 percent in its first episode.

Meanwhile, in the second episode, there was a slight change. Based on Nielsen Korea, The Veil got a rating of 8.0 percent in the second episode so that it experienced a one percent increase.

While On the Woman, dropped one percent in the second episode by getting a rating of 7.1 percent. While Yumi's Cells experienced a slight increase with a rating of 2.3 percent.

One the Woman tells the story of Cho Yeon Joo (Honey Lee), a prosecutor who gets into a car accident. When he wakes up from a coma, his life changes when he gets confused with the youngest daughter of a chaebol, Kang Mi Na, also the son-in-law of BK Group, who looks just like him. Han Seung Wook (Lee Sang Yoon) is a chaebol, who still cherishes his first love.

Meanwhile, Yumi's Cells tells the story of Yumi (Kim Go Eun), an ordinary working woman who is single. He is not good at expressing his feelings. Through his romantic relationships and work, he grows as a person who finds happiness in everyday life.

The Veil is about a Korean-style spy investigation show with a story about a top National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent.

In his quest to uncover the internal traitor that led to his downfall, he faces a much bigger enemy behind the organization. The Veil will premiere on MBC on September 17. /hot.detik.com
