September 17 is a special day for GOT7's Youngjae. Because today the main vocalist of GOT7 is celebrating his 25th birthday (international age).
While iGOT7 was busy celebrating their anniversary on social media, this morning Youngjae surprised fans by announcing the date of his solo debut with the release of his solo album.

1. The Shortest Trainee Period
If it usually takes K-Pop idols years to go through the trainee period, that doesn't apply to Youngjae. Among the members of GOT7, only Youngjae had the shortest trainee period.
In just 7 months since the training period, he was immediately chosen to debut with GOT7.
2. His Education Was Delayed
This idol, whose full name is Choi Youngjae, had studied at Seokyung University majoring in theater and film. Unfortunately, Youngjae was forced to discontinue his studies due to his busy schedule with GOT7.
But Youngjae was still enthusiastic about continuing his education, until finally he decided to return to college by majoring in modeling at Taekyung University, which is also the same as Yugyeom.
3. Have a Cute Puppy
Youngjae has a puppy named CoCo which he adopted with Mark. They even agreed to take care of CoCo together, from feeding them to inviting CoCo to play.
His closeness to CoCo is often shared by Youngjae on his Instagram account. No wonder, yes, if Youngjae is often dubbed as CoCo's mother.
4. Good at writing songs
In GOT7, Jay B and Mark are indeed more prominent for their songwriting. But there are many GOT7 songs that were also written by this Virgo man.
Youngjae is listed as a writer and composer for the songs Sick and HEY which is on the album Flight Log: Turbulance Album, Sign which is included in the album Flight Log: Arrival, Moon U on the album 7for7 and Rewind which is on the album Flight Log: Departure.
5. Soon Debut Solo
Right on his birthday, today Youngjae gave a surprise by announcing the date of his solo debut on October 5. He will release his first solo album, titled COLORS from Ars.
