On July 2, 2021, the KBS Entertain Youtube channel uploaded eps 9 of their latest program 'Address Unknown' which featured various South Korean idols.
In this episode, the idols are asked to send messages to themselves 10 years in the future, of which Giselle Aespa is one of them.
"For myself in the next 10 years...", said Giselle starting her sentence, "you are still alive, right... you... are still alive... you did your best, good good", said Giselle.
Giselle's answer immediately got the attention of South Korean netizens who laughed because her sentences were relaxed and could relate to many people.
“Ah I saw the title and the first picture and thought he was going to say something touching and cried so I got into that mood and read it but what is this ”,
“Haha, that's realistic. He's so cool ”,
“I must be going through a tough time right now, because I feel comforted by those words That's right, just surviving is okay, what more do you need, let's keep on living”,
