'Youth Of May' Enters Its Final Week This Week. Towards the end of the story, Go Min Si shared activities at the filming location while expressing his hopes for the drama.
Recently, KBS uploaded Go Min Si's activities behind the scenes of "Youth of May". The actor Kim Myung Hee had to record his activities all day while on the set as punishment for losing the quiz with other actors.
The clip uploaded Saturday (5/6) opened with Go Min Si mentioning, "I'm at Pyeonghwa hospital in Gwangju now." While recording, Lee Do Hyun was seen passing by and sped away quickly from him. Even so, Lee Do Hyun did not forget to give encouragement to Go Min Si.
Then it was seen Go Min Si was helped by the production crew to put fake blood all over his hands and uniform. He revealed that Pyeonghwa Hospital would later be filled with blood. Looking at his own clothes, he commented, "At this rate, I'm practically shot in the stomach."
When approaching Lee Do Hyun, the co-star said to the camera, "We're stuck in the hospital because of you." Go Min Si then apologized by lowering the camera. Then Lee Do Hyun crouched down sweetly and said, "It's okay."
Next, Go Min Si took viewers around the filming location. He shows the location of Kim Myung Hee and Hwang Hee Tae's (Lee Do Hyun) first date. While explaining that Gwangju Park Hotel was so famous in the past, he said, "Our set was built better than you imagined, so I am very satisfied with what is in our drama."
As is known, "Youth of May" has reached the peak of the conflict where riots broke out and destabilized the entire city of Gwangju. Not only that, Hwang Hee Tae and Kim Myung Hee's plans to escape also fell apart.
With the explosion of riots, the sign of this drama has almost reached the end of the story. Realizing that filming was coming to an end, Go Min Si shared, "When this drama ends, I hope many people remember the Myung Hee Tae couple because it is a story about ordinary people in this era."
