Kwak Dong Yeon had leaked a different ending from his character to fans on Instagram, he admitted he wanted to make a mess after 'Vincenzo' ended.
The role of Kwak Dong Yeon in the drama "Vincenzo" has indeed made his name even more known in the South Korean entertainment world. Even so, Kwak Dong Yeon has debuted as an actor since 2012 in the drama "My Husband Got a Family".
Recently, Kwak Dong Yeon did a photo shoot and interview with GQ Korea. In the interview, Kwak Dong Yeon realized that his visuals made him often get characters older than his age. However, he is actually happy because he can get many different roles.
In "Vincenzo," Jang Han Seo's character is the oldest character Kwak Dong Yeon has ever played. The character is estimated to be around 29 years old. However, currently Kwak Dong Yeon is known to be 25 years old in South Korea.
Kwak Dong Yeon also admitted that he did not feel awkward with his character. "No, I don't think so. All the roles I play have something about myself in them. 'Me (the role)' when I'm with older people, with close friends, and the other side of 'me'. No matter the role what I take, I will try to put something of myself into them without making them stand out too much. It's my job after all," explained Kwang Dong Yeon.
Kwak Dong Yeon also discussed his prank on Instagram, lying to fans about the ending of his character in "Vincenzo". Kwak Dong Yeon admitted that he wanted to make a mess because there was an allegation that Jang Han Seo died.
"A lot of viewers are predicting Han Seo's death, so I want to make a mess. Of course, I'm not just playing around. From a character perspective, I think Han Seo's final decision is the best choice he can make," said Kwak Dong Yeon.
"Even if he is still alive, he will have to bear the brunt of having killed someone, and face the consequences of his company collapsing. However, he saves Vincenzo (Song Joong Ki), the person who made him human, and talks back to his older brother after lived under his thumb all his life. He managed to get a lot of things done before he died. So to say, it was a happy ending for him."
Kwak Dong Yeon also talked about approaching many talented seniors on set, such as Song Joong Ki, 2 PM's Taecyeon, Park Bo Gum, and Yoo Seung Ho. She admits that working with older people often makes it difficult for her to make friends with people her own age.
