The case of buying and using marijuana by former BTOB member Jung Ilhoon has now reached the final stages of the process.
On June 10, 2021, a senior judge from the Central District Court of Seoul who presided over Jung Il Hoon's first sentencing hearing sentenced the former idol to 2 years in prison for regular marijuana use and a fine of 1.6 billion rupiah.
The judge also considered it necessary to detain Ilhoon in court because he believed there was a possibility of escaping Ilhoon.
Jung Ilhoon is suspected of collaborating with 7 other people to buy marijuana worth 1.6 billion rupiah for 30 months, from July 2016 to January 2019.
