NCT's Doyoung Reveals The Pressure He Experienced When Being Emotional During a Pandemic

One of the NCT members, Doyoung recently sat down with his brother, Gong Myung to talk about a lot of things. On that occasion, he relieves stress by opening up about how the pandemic has changed his life as an idol.

Although NCT 127's Japanese mini album "LOVEHOLIC" and NCT U's promotions were both successful, Doyoung revealed that it didn't feel as impactful as before. He said that this was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic which made him unable to meet fans.

“Because we can't see our fans because of COVID-19 (coronavirus). I don't think we have the energy to build on," he said.

Their hard work got the group some much-needed rest, but Doyoung didn't feel that way. He admitted, "So, I guess it's fine for me to take a break for now."

While breaks are necessary to practice, learn something new, and learn songs, it also adds a new layer. Doyoung added, “There was a bit of pressure like that. That's how it feels."
