Mamamoo Praised After Appearing Stunningly On 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'

Recently Mamamoo received praise after appearing on "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook". The four-member group managed to amaze the public after singing a medley of hits from their seniors.

On the Friday (4/6) episode, Mamamoo became a guest star in the middle of the promotion period for their new album, titled "WAW". They are currently busy promoting "Where Are We Now", the title track on the album.

Not only singing their newest song, Mamamoo also prepared a special stage in the form of a medley cover of "2000s dance songs" by a number of iconic artists. Mamamoo combined Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry", Wonder Girls' "Tell Me", T-Ara's "Roly Poly", and Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra".

Mamamoo's playful special performance was in stark contrast to their emotional new song. As soon as their singing ended, Yoo Hee Yeol expressed his appreciation for Mamamoo and thanked him for the amazing performance.

"Because it might seem easy (in preparation for the stage), but they made a comeback this week. The fact that they rearranged all this again, prepared, and practiced the choreography during their comeback, just for the sake of appearing on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' and will not performed elsewhere. Making this song like a whole, I'm really grateful, "said Yoo Hee Yeol.

After expressing his appreciation, Yoo Hee Yeol said he was flattered because of Mamamoo. The reason is, Solar cs always prepares special appearances and is not half-hearted every time she becomes a guest star on the program. As the host of the event, Yoo Hee Yeol also felt grateful.

Meanwhile, Mamamoo just released their new album on Wednesday (2/6). In this comeback, the RBW upbringing group is committed to playing more mature music with a ballad album. (wk/inta)
