The latest news comes from IU, who reportedly bought a luxury residence recently. The popular singer and actress who was born in 1993 is known to have bought a penthouse worth 13 billion KRW (approximately Rp. 167.1 billion).
According to reports on Tuesday (1/6), IU recently bought a unit at Eterno Chungdam. This is a new complex to be fully constructed in December 2022, with super penthouse units projected to be the highest rated apartment units locally.
According to reports, IU made a purchase of one unit in February for 13 billion KRW (approximately IDR 167.1 billion). In accordance with the law, the "Celebrity" singer submitted a residency application to the Gangnam City Office, stating his intention to live there instead of making a purchase for investment.
It is known that IU purchased a unit of about 243 square meters between the 10th and 12th floors. It is also reported that the star of the "Hotel del Luna" series has sold her previously known residence, a villa in Bangbaedong.
IU already sold the villa in 2019, 7 years after the initial purchase in 2012. The owner's real name Lee Jieun currently also holds ownership of several other apartments that she does not live in, around the outskirts of the city.
