DSP Media's agency gave their response after the lawsuit against Hyunjoo's ex-APRIL friend was rejected.
Earlier this year, Hyunjoo's sister wrote a post on the internet that said her brother was a victim of bullying from APRIL members.
Not only his sister, other netizens who claimed to be Hyunjoo's classmates also gave similar statements.
However, this was denied by the agency DSP Media and they filed a lawsuit against Hyunjoo, his family and friends for spreading slander and damaging APRIL's good name.
Recently, the Seoul Gwanak Police Station has rejected the lawsuit filed by DSP Media against Hyunjoo's schoolmate, hereinafter referred to as 'A'.
In response to this, DSP Media now stated, "The lawsuit was rejected because according to the accusers, they got information from Hyunjoo and the news article that was released, so it can't prove that they were aware that it was fake news. There is no decision from the police that what the perpetrator wrote is in accordance with the facts."
“To hold people accountable for the false information they wrote down, we have already filed a lawsuit against the person who first wrote the information. The investigation into this case will continue. We will also file an appeal against the rejection of the lawsuit against 'A'," the agency said. (www.kpopchart.net)
