Jungkook is undoubtedly the favorite maknae of BTS (Bangtan Boys) members. But recently Suga revealed that the "golden maknae" is starting to show signs of being "insolent."

On May 30th, the YouTube channel "Ask Anything Chat" released a question and answer session with the BTS members, where all the questions came from their own fans. Many questions are actually quite trivial.

One of the questions touched on the members' habit of calling Suga. Most of the members, except for Jin, call Suga hyung or Yoongi hyung, his real name. Suga then talked about Jungkook.

"In the past Jungkook still called me Suga hyung, but lately he only called me Yoongi," said Suga, revealing that Jungkook now often calls him by his real name without hyung, the name for the older brother of a younger brother.

Jungkook who was sitting in the corner just laughed while shouting, "Yoongi ah," while the other members joined in laughing at the maknae's "insolence".

As is well known, South Korea still has high norms of decency, especially when it comes to age. Older people are obliged to be called by the appendage of brother, based on the difference in years. Two people are considered the same age if born in the same year, regardless of how many months older.

Meanwhile, BTS recently released their comeback single in English "Butter", which has broken records here and there. They have also premiered at the prestigious music awards event at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
